About Us

Welcome friend,

First, let me thank you for visiting our newest website. My earliest lessons in construction and home repairs came from my dad, an intelligent old school Yankee, who loved to build and repair everything. I share that love and in 1976 built my first home in Rowley, MA., remodeled my next one in Lynnfield in 1977, built my next one in Wakefield and so on.

In 1987, after recieving my Master Degree in Management, I started The Country Carpenter, based on a true passion for this work, honesty, customer satisfaction (please see testimonials), quality craftsmanship along with the use of only first class material and strong managment practices.

With a specialty in finish carpentry the company grew into a general contracting firm building custom new homes, additions and doing remodel projects of all sizes.

Today, my son Chaz is our web designer while his brother, Corey, works in the field with me paying close attention to details. Along with family we are fortunate to have a wonderful crew of caring artisans associates, Bob (30 years of handyman services), Dave (35 of carpentry), Joe (Master Plumber) Tom (Master Electrician, Adam & Hunter (Masonry and Tile) and Lisa (Master Designer)
